Conditions We Treat
Shoulder pain
Shoulder pain can be caused by a variety of factors, including injury, overuse, and medical conditions. Here are some common causes and treatments for shoulder pain:
1. Rotator cuff injury: This is a common injury that affects the muscles and tendons that surround the shoulder joint. Symptoms include pain, weakness, and difficulty moving the arm.
2. Bursitis: This is inflammation of the bursa sacs that cushion the shoulder joint. Symptoms include pain, swelling, and stiffness.
3. Frozen shoulder: This is a condition in which the shoulder joint becomes stiff and painful, making it difficult to move the arm.
4. Shoulder impingement: This occurs when the tendons of the rotator cuff become pinched or compressed. Symptoms include pain, weakness, and difficulty raising the arm.
5. Arthritis: Osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis can both cause shoulder pain.
6. Shoulder Instability, subluxation/dislocation
7. Trauma and fracture
8. Sprain and Strain
